Post background color BB code support

I submitted a Plugin Request for this, but if I'm understanding what I'm reading on other sites, what I'm trying to do can be supported by using a BB code.  Some forums allow the [bg=red]text here[/bg] code to change the background color of a post.

Can this get supported with Proboards also?  Or possibly another way I could easily be able to change the background color of a post?

I see there was one in previous versions, but I don't guess it's supported in V5?

Thanks!  Now if someone could make a button or very fast way to use this, I'd be very appreciative.  The faster, the better
