Change "online" list upon switching accounts.

I'm on a roleplay site where we have separate accounts for each character. Let's say I'm on Character A, I click the button and switch to Character B when I look at the 'Users Online' list I see both Character A and Character B. Would it be possible for it to 'log out' Character A when I switch to Character B?

An "online" user is simply a user who has loaded the page in the last 15 minutes. If you wait for 15 minutes, this will go away. If not, you can always just click the "logout" link first.

You can only log in on one forum account at a time, switching from one to another should register as logging out without clicking the logout button. A few members with myself included love the fact we don't have to sign out and sign back in now but think it's annoying seeing two of our characters on at the same time.

This may be considered. Don't know enough of the backend to know if it is feasible.

The reason it's 15 minutes or less is because of how our system functions. Unfortunately this won't be changing right now, sorry.

I will create a task to discuss improving this (if it can be). Be aware that with launch coming in less than 3 months we are busy with other more pressing matters. I understand exactly why it is a problem for your RP, but this may not be changed for a while since it isn't viewed as broken.
