kk what did I do wrong when I downloaded it and opened it using notepad it is a bunch of mumbo jumbo symbols nothing like coding. And I can't copy and paste it any where. Do I do something wrong.

Shorty, question for you. This plugin has always worked fine for me and just recently stopped working in that when you click "Highlight Code" it doesn't highlight it. It's still easy enough to just click Select All and Copy so it's not that it's completely broken, but it may confuse members when highlight code doesn't highlight the code. You can test it out here. I'm not sure what exactly broke it or when it occurred. Any ideas?

I'm not 100% sure why it's not working. So my best suggestion is to update it to the latest version of the plugin, and see if that fixes your problem.

Shorty, I have version 1.0.5, is there a more recent one?

Does this code rely on any default formats for any templates? A lot of my Layout Templates are drastically altered so if it requires any sort of default format, that could've been the problem?

Yes. I updated it a month ago. It has the same version number only because I forgot to change it. LOL. And it shouldn't be your template. I ran the code for the button click from the console and it worked just fine. So I would try upgrading the plugin, and if that doesn't work, I would think that maybe it's a plugin conflict.

Just installed, still not working. I'm gonna try turning off plugins and seeing if there's a conflict. It's not that big of a deal if I can't get it to highlight, I just figured I'd fix it if I could. =) Will post here if I find a plugin conflict

did you ever find if there is a plugin conflict? I am currently experiencing the same issue and I just installed the plugin so it should be up to date.
