Filter recent threads?

I was messing with page widgets, and I was wondering if it was possible to allow some sort of filtering for recent threads? I'd like to be able to show the most recent threads of a single subforum/category (specifically to show all the recent rp threads) rather than of the entire forum, which tends to get cluttered with ooc shenanigans and adverts.

eta: being able to filter recent threads by label would also be brilliant

I'll make a feature idea note for this for our future updates. It likely wont be before launch. Probably in v5.x when we start expanding things like widgets.
