33 Dark Themes

all thats fine but when its finished downloading it doesnt open and instead does another download and it keeps repeating

Thanks Stinky666 but it seems to be the same problem. Not sure if its just my laptop thats not downloading or if its doing the same with others.

I downloaded your Light theme skins fine but its just this dark themed skin

I honestly don't know what else to suggest, other than a different browser.
Maybe David Clark or Brian could weigh in, or anyone else.

BossAlien, pressing ctrl+J in Chrome (or clicking on the options button in the top right > Downloads) should bring you to the page where you can see your recent downloads. Are you able to locate the theme pack in that list and click "Show in folder"? That should take you directly to the file on your computer.

David Clark when I download the pack I get the downloading bar at the bottom in chrome and when its finished and I click open it just reopens and even when I go into my folder and click open on the document it just downloads again back in chrome. I have also tried in FF and IE. The pack doesnt download.

As I mentioned before, I downloaded Stinky666's light theme skin and it downloaded perfectly. Its just this one that doesnt seem to download.

It sounds like you're somehow downloading a shortcut to the actual download URL, since that's the only thing that would prompt an additional download when you open it. Not sure why that would be happening... it should be a .zip file, though, so if it attempts to download an .htm file or any other kind of filetype except a compressed zip file, it's not working right.

If you copy this URL and paste it directly into your address bar, does it prompt the .zip download?

Okay, well, from the icon that definitely looks like an html file, but the filesize is exactly the same as the zip file containing the themes. What the... maybe your computer is configured to open .zips in Chrome for some reason?

Try this BossAlien. Go to the file itself on your computer through the "Show in folder" method I described above, and then right click it.

In the right-click menu, click on "Open with..." (or, if it's a pop-out menu with some programs in in, click the very bottom item, labeled "Choose default program..."). In the dialog box that pops up, look for "Windows Explorer", and select that.

Does it open the .zip with the themes inside then?

These are flipping GORGEOUS. Okay I've been having issues downloading these and getting them on my Board for a while now. Stinky's March 21st link worked. I opened everything up then had to put the separate links for my preferred colors into Download so I could Upload onto ProBoards.

BUT it worked and don't ask me how I done this. I'm just happy I got them.

Most of the codes im unable to find .. Any chance of direct links being added to the first post ?

2nd how do i use the images in the misc folder they look like gradients and top and bottom images

What codes? As for the images, they are already in use so no need to touch them. Unless it's for something specific...? But you'd need to tell me what it is you're doing. You should just be able to grab the URL for them though.
