So I was thinking that maybe you could add the feature to where each user could have their own blog. It could be a tab on their profile page. I know some people would like to have this and others might think it would be pointless, so I guess make it so where the admin can toggle the blog option. Just an idea.

Create a board with Falling enabled. Set permissions so that the admin is the only person who can create new threads. If you want members to be able to comment you can leave posting replies enabled. You can hide the board if you don't want it showing up on the home page itself (or better yet, place it in a hidden category). Then go and add a link to your profile that goes to the Blog board.
Enabling the falling is the most important part of the above. It will ensure that all entries remain in chronological order, regardless of replies. You can get creative with the rest.

So would that have to be done for each member?

My description was based on building a blog for the admin account. However you could do this for as many members as you wish.
The forum is meant to be a forum, a place for public discussion. That being said we give you a lot of freedom to customize and organize. We don't feel that giving every single member a personal blog where they type by themselves would be conducive to the forum environment. I was just giving you an example of how you can modify your forum to be more like a blog. We created the 'Falling' attribute for that exact purpose. However we do not plan on giving every member their own blog. That will take some work from you. Giving every member their own personal blog space would be on par with designing a whole new post system from scratch. And would roughly have the same impact as if you were to create a private board for every single member. Imagine your forum with a board for every member on it. That's how difficult it would be for people to navigate around and read all the blogs. And I'm sure this would spawn a whole new wave of requests for blog related features. Like searching all the blogs, etc. I apologize but we won't be adding this. We want to keep the discussion public and on the forum itself, not in people's profiles. And finally this request is a lot larger than you might comprehend and we don't have the time to do such a thing.
Thank you anyway.
