This goes to whoever can accurately answer this question for me.I don't know much about the features that are available, but I have been told by a staff member of my own who previously inquired on this that it's impossible to get. I trust his word, however, I figured I see what else I could dig up about it if the case is any way a possibility. Is there any way that on the member's profiles that we could some how get a wall? Like the ability to be able to make statuses, as well as post comments on the person's profile that will stay on their own personal profile page? As well as be able to like and comment on another person's comment/statuses? I am sure many of you are familiar with what I am saying as it is common on other popular sites. I feel like this as a plugin addition for V5 would greater enhance the forum experience and greatly attract new members to people's sites overall. If this is not an option that is easily attainable, and requires a complex coding, could it perhaps be an option for a plug in that the admins of proboards could make that would cost money? Either way, if I could receive it I would do whatever needed in order to see this pursued. Even like I said if it required a fee in order to have this feature. If it's not possible, then of course we can make due without it. Just thought I'd give it a shot!

First let me start by saying that very few things are impossible in v5. Some may be complex, but they are rarely impossible.
We already added statuses to profiles in v5. We did however intentionally leave out the ability to comment on those statuses. A forum is already a place for discussion. Moving that discussion to individual profiles doesn't benefit the forum itself and too closely resembles another large website you may be familiar with.
We want to keep the discussion on the boards.
That being said this can likely be accomplished with a plugin or template mod.
Sorry but we won't be adding this at this time.
Thank you.

I know I suggested a comments section for visitors, followers and/or friends (aka. you set in your profile which of those 3 can make a comment and see them), but I can't remember if it was a "no" I got, a "possibly" or a "yes, it will be added in v5.x". So I for one would also love to see a reply for this Edit: ha beaten to it That's what you get for staying on the posting page and reading other topics haha

But, if this is a possibility to turn into a plugin, is there a way to get it made? I myself do not know coding, so I would not be able to make it. If you know any way I can get this started, any bit of information would be very helpful. Thanks!
