McGanis Comfort Theme.pbt (8.11 MB)

EDIT 5/1/13: Due to more size issues, the update in THIS POST should be the one you download!

Credit for the neat-o patterns goes to subtlepatterns.com, design/arrangement to me McGani, and of course the few CSS mods included (like border around forum) are credited to PBS royalty. 

I ask that anyone who uses the theme to give the appropriate credits, of course.<333 Be sure to link my name to my Potterholics forum (or my profile here at PBS), and you may also include the credits to subtlepatterns.com, though they don't require it for non-commercial use.

This is 1 of the 4 themes available for my own forum, and I really liked it, so why not share?

Just please give credit where it's due, that's all I ask! :} Feel free to link your forum in this thread too, if you use it, so I can see it in action!

EDIT: If you notice anything off about the skin (I made it rather quickly), like a color being off somewhere, let me know! Especially if you don't know how to fix it--I'll help ya out!

This is really good. I love your layout and fonts especially. Is it really over 22MB though? Just seems really big for a theme - is it images or something?

Yeah, I was really confused about the size too, but I think it's the images. I played around with a few different kinds of images and it apparently saves all of them even when you stop using them. xD I didn't go through and delete the unused ones, but I probably should have. xD

I love these theme, its so fresh compared to my usual dark theme.

I have been trying to install but its just saying uploading?

How long should this usually take to install?

Sorry about that, buttscene, I just tried uploading it too and it just endlessly loaded but never finished. It should usually only take a few seconds. I think the file was just too big because of all the excess pictures. I didn't think it'd slow it down much.

I just went through and deleted all the excess, and bob's your uncle! Try this one and let me know if it works:

I'm having difficulty getting a header to show up. I tried putting it in the logo section, but it's not showing up, am I doing it wrong?

Very nice theme, downloaded just to have a more in depth look at it

EDIT:

After uploading to the boards, it seemed to slow down, could either be my own bandwidth, but the other ones I have tried aren't slowing it down, so could be the images?

The theme doesn't load slowly for me, but it could easily be the images! That's one downfall of using textures for everything rather than solid colors. Is it like painfully slow?
