Stack effects were very much what I was thinking, and I can see why they might not read correctly. I'm not a fan of the tooltips to see info, but I fully understand the space issues of the MP. Looks like I'll need a plugin to do this!

Clicking the badge gives you a full dialog with no tool tips that contain the information.

Just be careful when it comes to altering badges. I myself am not clear on the TOS involving them, but I do know that you shouldn't be changing what people paid for.

Ok, was unaware that was a TOS issue. I'd want to read the tooltip to find the quantity of the badge and make some indication of that in the mini-profile, but I can see why PB may be worried about this sort of modification.
