Posting Activity Bar [library support]

ponchopolous, mini-profile is the small rectangle to the left of your posts in a thread and a PM. Its template is in Admin > Structure > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile and that's where the coding for it is. You don't have to deal with the mini-profile template unless you want it to show up in a particular area.

...how much clearer can I make it?

In some previous plugins ive seen of yours, you directly say what and where to put the new code in.
for example on the time and date plug in you have you cite that the new code needs to take place in line 43. such instructions on all of your plug ins would make the entire process  incredibly easier and faster for people like myself, and presumably him too. thanks

I dont think I have used actual line numbers in the past because line numbers are going to be completely different from one person to the next.  any of my plugins that require placement of something, I will just say which template to edit.

Ah I understand, Though im fairly certain I did get that from you, and it did work for me. Perhaps you were speaking in reference to a completely unaltered forum. On a side note ive installed your Posting Activity Plus plugin, and ive got it functioning for only one bar, i cant seem to get another one to appear. any suggestions?

Every plugin I write is based on an unaltered forum because with all the customization out there, it would be impossible to write something that worked on 100% on every forum if it involved placing something in a specific place.

if you have the plus code, you dont need the regular version. a general bar is built into the plus version already - and it does the exact same thing.

start by removing the regular posting activity plugin and using the one that is part of plus

I have the posting activity plug in active only temporarily until i can get the other one to function properly, but when trying it i did disable the ruglar one for the plus version. It shows the two activity bars in the settings, but only the first one is appearing when activated. everything between the two is the same except for the bar title, how many days, active posts per day and bar height. all the other fields started blank and i left them as they were. bar heights started the same so i tried lowering the second one higher then lower, im not sure what else to try.

I think Im confused on what you are saying isnt working... you have a general bar and then two specific bars right?

correct. but from the three only the first specific bar appears on the mini profile.

both regular and plus version of posting activity had new versions submitted to library

just making the the consistent width in all browsers.

I dunno. It appears to just be my laptop, now that I have visited my forum on a new site. An odd quirk, but I'll survive. thanks for the nice plugin, but is the joined forum date from you? IS there anyway to remove that from appearing on the profile picture
