I got confirmation this morning that this isn't something that is added in already, but have created a ticket so that a scrollamount variable could be added to marquee BBCode tags. As soon as I get word back that this has been added, I'll let you know as well as provide instructions on the format to use

It looks like the ticket was updated to note that this has been implemented; it should use the standard scrollamount value like HTML does. I did a couple of tests though, and it seems to break the marquee tags which will show nothing at all. I'll leave a note with our developers to look into this, or to see what the official syntax is for the tags

Update that it should be working now:

Scroll 5
Scroll 25
Scroll 50

^ Which was done like so:

[marquee scrollamount=5]Scroll 5[/marquee]
[marquee scrollamount=25]Scroll 25[/marquee]
[marquee scrollamount=50]Scroll 50[/marquee]

Increase or decrease the number in the scrollamount="5" attribute to change the speed of the marquee.

For example, a scrollamount of 5 will produce the following:

[marquee scrollamount="5"]Marquee five[/marquee]

Marquee five

While a scrollamount of 20 will give you this:

[marquee scrollamount="20"]Marquee twenty[/marquee]

Marquee twenty

I'm not sure how to make it any simpler than that.

Admin > Structure > Categories and Boards

Click the 'gear' icon/image on the right side of the board name you want to add this to. Voila.
