Can you add a feautre to disable certain boards for getting EXP?

Matej, I'm getting a problem with the plugin in that when I disable the post count on a board, if a member posts in that board, they still obtain EXP for their post. Is there any way to fix that, or perhaps put in a part of the plugin where EXP gain is disabled on some parts of the board?

Also, if you place any Javascript code into the Global Headers, you can't increase the EXP gain using the profile for each individual person.

I am trying this one and it is not working.

The issue regarding not being able to edit is what I am having also, I get no popup but I have in fact purged the key and all data and still no luck, any ideas? I really like this plugin idea but it won't work

It is possible to retrospectively count EXP yes?

I have some issues with the plugin in out of character boards where members would still get EXP in general chat even when the post count is disabled in those areas. It would be nice if there was an option that allowed us to disable the ability to earn EXP on certain boards. Right now the only option is to disable earning EXP per post by setting to 0 EXP per post and manually add the EXP by having a staff member review the thread. I noticed that there was an option in Peter's Monetary System Plugin that allowed you to adjust the amount of money one earned on different boards or categories; if possible could something like that be adopted into this plugin?

Hello! I am having an issue. My board is counting it wrong. For example, while my character has twenty IC posts, it only shows up as 5 dollars. It does this to all the accounts. Here is a link to my board: [Aalai's site]

Hey everyone, I'll look into this today to see what I can do and provide some help with issues and find a way to add a board limiter for the XP. No promises if I'll be done today, but I will definitely try.

Hey guys!

I've updated the plugin and it now has a few new features, including limiting where a user can gain experience (per board) as requested by many.


The changelog I've added to the plugin is here:

1.1  12/30/2013:

+ Disable XP per board
- You can now disable XP gain in specific boards of your choice
- Added a new tab to the plugin - "Disable Experience" which allows you to choose where there should be no experience gain.


+ Quick reply specific value
- You can now set a different amount of XP gain for using quick reply
- New field available under Settings


+ Custom XP Display
- You can now choose to display XP where you want it using a template modification inside mini profiles (applies to mini profiles only and not full profiles)
- New field available under Experience Display

I have some more changes I'll be working on later today unless something else comes my way, but I have some feature ideas that I hope to implement.

This time the majority of the update is in the background, converting all the keys to JSON for future upgrades and a small bugfix that now prevents gaining EXP in PMs.

Hello there Matej.

I see that you added the ability to add exp with <span class="w_exp_custom"></span> to the mini-profile so you can create a custom display. I was wondering if there was a way you could make this possible in the user-profile as well or if there is a way to do that now. I was wanting to style my user-profile so that it looks less bland and a bit more like the rest of the skin I made for a forum. Is this possible? If it is I would greatly appreciate it!
