Useful for problem members. You don't want to ban, but you do want to approve their stuff before it goes on the forum.

Greetings,
Has been requested multiple times. I believe it has been rejected each time. The position ProBoards takes is that members who write posts and then have nothing appear are less likely to stay and be involved with a forum.
Remember that members can report posts and staff can discuss reported posts, choosing to take action or not. If you consistently edit or delete a problem member's posts, they probably won't remain a problem for too long.

I agree they probably won't remain a member for long... but this is good! That's the psychology of it.
They leave of their own volition rather than getting banned and coming back to start a crusade with all kinds of disruptive alt accounts, spoofing/proxy ips etc. Almost impossible to deal with if they know what they are doing.

As RedBassett explained, we will not be adding this feature. Forums that require every post to be proofread and accepted before appearing are not conducive to a community environment. People want to see their posts appear when they post. They don't want to wait (sometimes for days) simply to have their own content show up. At this time this is not a feature that we are looking to implement. Thank you though.
