If you are referring to the fact that one of the hosted images in the plugin has been deleted so longer works then the following topic gives you several options on how to fix it yourself since the author of this plugin has not logged on in over three years

I've now tried that, but unfortunately it didn't do anything. The button still only appears if I select 'go to bottom' in the settings page, it never becomes a 'back to top' button, and the image didn't even change. It also lost all other formatting settings I'd done, like making the image smaller (it's back to its original size).

I will look at the Quick Scrolling Buttons plugin to see if that works better.

Edit: the other plugin works but I'd like to customise it, and it's harder to do so with that plugin. Is there a support thread for the Quick Scrolling Buttons plugin? I couldn't find one with a search. Thanks!

Other than the up arrow image native to the plugin needing replacing (which can easily be done within the plugin), the plugin itself works just fine. The default is for a "back to top" button, but selecting the "go to bottom" in the plugin's settings allows for both a go to top or bottom depending on your current location on the page.

If you still wish to use the plugin, let me know and I would be happy to assist you with adjusting the settings.

I have tried uploading the image given on support.proboards.com/post/7320969 but it still only works if I select 'go to bottom' and still is only a go to bottom button. It never changes to back to top, not even the new one I just uploaded, regardless of anything.

I'm not sure what to do or what to try. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the steps I'm taking, it's just not working.

Interestingly, after changing the settings to add the custom arrow for go to top, the size reverts to Medium even though I have Small selected.

If you have any tips for how to get it to work, they'd be greatly appreciated. But as it is I can't work out what I'm doing wrong, if anything.

The arrow is now 'Small', thanks!
Unfortunately, it is still only a 'go to bottom' arrow, even at the bottom of the page. I have tried both going to the bottom by pressing the button and by scrolling.

metaphoricalrobin - the change between it being an up vs down arrow is set by page position. Currently there isn't enough content to trigger the "up". Since it's a test forum, add some more posts to a thread so there is more on the page and then you should see it working as expected.

I am using the back to top plugin.
the only problem I have is that the bottom arrow is not working, however the top arrow is working fine.
Should or do I need to get an image for the arrow for the bottom ?
