Hello again. So i was in here bugging you about changes on my first forum like 6 months ago. Once I got it the way I liked it though I havent been back in the code since. I made a new forum today and have modified everything that needed it except the main header banner image. I have been through all the code twice and read this thread entirely and still cant find it. I found the top left, top right and center background image but not seeing my banner. I found a spot that says banner image but it isnt showing the text for the photobucket image currently in use...so it must not be the right spot.

I feel like a retard asking this after all the work done before but could someone lead the blind to his target?

No thats the image trio for the background behind the forum wrapper. The banner im hunting is in the top of the wrapper. It is a forth image. But i couldnt find it. i just overwrote it with the visual editor .

I'm confused, but really curious exactly as to what you're referring to.
The banner is the trio of images: Top Left (moon/sky), Top Center (blank gradient), Top Right (Villa/Hut).
The only other thing that could possibly be classed as a banner, maybe, is the navigation menu/bar. Is that what you're referring to?

Well if you lookat my forum at redrumracing.freeforums.net there is an image of a guage on the top left. There is another on the top right, and there is an image of chainlink fence that is reapeated across the background and is set to not scroll with the page. Those are the three in the line we are talking about. Then there is theimage at the top of the forum itself that has the title and a city in it. That is the one I could not locate in the code but is now showing well enough using the visual editor. I would still like to know where it is but at this point it looks fine so i dont need to change it. I searched all the code pages for the word photobucket before using the visual editor and it simply was not in there...even though it was clearly being applied on the site. Was very confusing.

If it isnt called the banner than what is it?

Hahah yeah, that is the banner. Ok glad we got that sorted lol.

All you should need to do, is go to: Admin > Themes > Colors & Theme Creator
In there where it says "Banner Height" I have it set to 0px, change it to the height of the banner you wish to use, then upload it as you normally would just below, where it says "Banner Image".

Does it not show up in the style sheet or the layout templates somewhere?

Also an additional question. Could you help me get a "Top" button and page navigation set at the bottom of threads?

And...does proboards have a setting somewhere for making the thread jump to the first unread post? I could not locate it.

You don't need to edit the style sheet for it, just do as I said. It's much easier/quicker that way.
How do you want the "Top" link exactly? For the page navigation, you mean the navigation tree? I think there is a plugin for that..

Okay I can't see a plugin for it, but I could have sworn there was. Maybe it's a modification in the template board. Have a look

Also for your 3rd question, that's what happens automatically anyway, is it not? I am always taken to the first unread post in a thread.

I was hoping that when you get to the bottom of a page it would have a button for going back to the top, one for previous, the buttons for page numbers and then one for next. That would be the navigation tree your refering too?

It exists at the top im hoping i can just find it, copy it and placeit at the bottom as well if i can find the right locations.

The forum is currently not doing the next unread post for anyone.

EDIT: Ok i found the pagination section and successfully inserted it at the bottom so now I only need the "back to top" option. I know where to put it if you could provide the codelines that integrates with your theme.

Not needed anymore. Thank you. I actually just found that it already exists burried in the bottom of the options menu found at the bottom right of each post.

So only issue now is the fact that it does not go to last unread...but from comment above sounds like it should already be doing that so...i dont know.

Hmm ok I tested on my forum and it does the same. I will have a look at why it isn't.
