your </body> </html> tags are not closed. that why your having the number display. this meaning some code you have, isn't nested correctly i hate to say it but you have a job on your hands you need to get them fixed.

best way is to work through this list of errors Here but don't be shocked away if you clean up one error from the top working down you WILL find that 1 fix for an error will automatically fix x20 more all html errors are accessible by the admin panel

i copied what you just posted after i went thru every line and nothing was any different than what was in my template except for the Currently, all closings were the same. i copied the whole thing and it still wont let me into my site. i copied just this and it did the same thing

its most definatly code out-side of the home html conflicting with the

Scripts code its a very simple code that cant go wrong really :S because if you remove just the script line's i bet it will work. just without the count.

one last stab try put </body> after $[shoutbox]

then try </body> </html> after $[shoutbox]

im really sorry if it doesn't work for you i tryed!!!

its something on my site, it works on a test site. ive dealt with troubleshooting by just taking stuff out one by one but it takes hours. when i have time ill look at it

everything you did works fine, except i think this should be user if theres only one

cant figure a code that grabs the correct data that the script generates and put a {if Greater than 1} statement to it.
so im stumped. on that one its just has to be static HTML for now

its the sidebar, Tim Camara, he made the plugin and he doesnt answer alot of stuff in that thread, i have an unanswered post there from a couple of days ago. noone else gives support for it either

There's too many errors/problems with that sidebar. Have you tried the Redux one by Brian ?
