Could you do the following for me in Google Chrome?

1. Press F12 to open the Developer Console.
2. Click on the "Console" tab.
3. Type in the console: localStorage and press Enter.
4. Take a screenshot and post it for me.

If that's all that is showing, it shouldn't be triggering the drafts popup right now. Next time the drafts popup appears when it shouldn't, do the same thing again. You should see something like "http://advert.boards.net_draft" in the local storage data. When you see that, take a screenshot of that for me.

I found a bug which would cause the drafts popup to appear when it shouldn't. I just want to make sure your issue isn't something else.

You see how it says the "affected_id" is "34"? In this case, the popup is only suppose to appear if you go to view the thread with id 34 or if you reply to the thread with id 34.

When we decide whether to show the drafts popup, we check to see if the URL you are on has "34" in there somewhere. If it did, you would see the popup. So if the URL had something like "/post/340/quote/24" (replying to thread 24 with a quote from post 340), it would incorrectly show the popup. That's what I think is happening here.

If that sounds right to you, then this should be fixed next time we push out updates to the forums. Let me know if you think it's something else.
