Could you explain the details of the Ads free forum upgrade: 1.Do one time payments have the unused portion roll over to the next month? 2.Does the reoccurring payment system have the unused portion roll over to the next month? 3. What is the procedure to stop reoccurring payments? 4. Who is the "Staff" proboards or Forum owner. Please explain what can be decided on 5. How does the link below (Click here to remove banner ads from this forum). Is it different than buying page views by the Forum Owner? Sorry to ask these questions, but there does not seem to be a place to read about this. A bit different topic: how long does it take to have the Forum transferred to another person, once here on your Forum that request has been made and agree on by the two parties? Thank you

Hi, 1. No 2. No 3. To stop reoccuring payments, you can click the cog wheel in the lower right hand corner of this forum, then click on 'Subscriptions'. You can access subscription cancelling from that page. 4.Staff here on Support are all ProBoards employees. (All the red names.) On your forum, staff can be anyone that you choose to be staff. As a default, forums come with 1 staff member, the forum creator and Admin. 5.The click here to remove ads link is just a shortcut to the ad-free page. It also allows regular forum users to purchase ad-free for the forum as a gift, or a thank you. It functions in the same way that admin-purchased ad-free works. Once both parties have posted it takes us a matter of minutes to transfer a forum, the speed of the ownership transfer is dependent on the speed of the replies of both parties involved. Please remember that forum ownership transfers can only be performed by ProBoards staff, 9am-5pm Pacific Time.

In paying for pageview there is an overdraft option. What is overdraft? Attachments:

Overdraft is an option you can select that allows ad-free to be automatically charged to you when you go over your allotted pageviews that you have already paid for.
For instance, say you have a subscription set up for 50,000 pageviews a month. You make some big post and your forum has 50,000 pageviews used by the last week in the month. Overdraft will kick in (if you have it enabled!) and your forum will continue to get ad-free. At the end of the month, we tally up how many pagviews you had over your already paid 50,000 and charge you a prorated price for the number of pageviews that you used.

To be a little more clear on what Michael said, overdraft allows you to go over your "maximum" ad-free pageviews and get charged just for what you use. For example, if your forum gets 60,000 pageviews a month, it is cheaper to get a 50,000 per month plan with overdraft enabled. This way your forum still stays ad-free even when going over, then we will charge you for the extra 10,000 pageviews at the overdraft rate.
