 Enabled and disabled. Code keeps appearing instead of smileys in both admin and other account. The standard smileys appear in the dialogue box, but only code appears in the post, after saving.

Now I'll try to upload again.

After you have added smilies to your list on your profile page, do they appear at the top of the box when you hover over the URLs?

Sure Todge.

There are two issues.

One in  Admin and one in a  normal account. As Admin, I only get code.

As plain  member: I can upload five, and use them in posts successfully.

The ensuing problem then is that the url's refuse to disappear out of the uploading boxes, after the upload, thus impeding   the following upload.

And now of course, for the first time in half a week, they're working.

LOL.. Typical.

Hopefully they will behave themselves now.

As far adding the smilies.. You add five, then save, at which point you will get five more spaces to add another five. The original smilies are not hidden in case you wish to remove them, just scroll down to reveal the five empty boxes and add the next smilies etc..
