My "admin" account is not staying logged on....

This is probably something and nothing, because it's nothing to switch back, but can someone tell me why it is, that when I finish on the site for the night, and I SWITCH back to my "admin" account that sometimes when I call the site up the next day/night that it's one of my non admin accounts that it's still logged into? I know all I have to do is switch back to my "admin" account but the fact that I do that before leaving at night, I shouldn't have to do it when I open the site. I'm finding it a little strange and it messes me up with my OCD issues. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Hi, Mands.

Can you try logging out of your global account entirely via the Logout link in your menu, then logging back in and seeing what the results are the next time?

I can do that, but to be honest, I actually completely logged out last night as it happens because I was creating a new account. So in effect, the same thing happened. As it's on my Damon account today even though I switched back to my "admin" one. Does that answer your question? LOL

I'd try it again tonight doing the exact same steps just to make sure. It seems unlikely that it would place you back into the Damon account with the actions you described, unless you left something important out.

Well it doesn't do it EVERY night, so I may not get a repeat occurence for a day or two but it has been doing it frequently. But okay will do it again tonight and wait to see how long it takes to do it again. As I say it's nothing to switch back, just a little annoying and curious as to why it's doing it in the first place.

If it's only intermittent, make sure you take down your steps each time. It will help us track down the cause more easily in the event it is a bug.

Okay, but really all I'm doing is switching between accounts when I am writing for my different characters. At the most I write for 4 different characters. When I have posted the last one, I switch to the "admin" account and then shut down my browser and programs and computer for the night. I don't see how I am doing anything wrong.   When I say it doesn't happen every day, that's true, but it happens enough for me to go, what in hell is happening. It's made me wonder if it's when an update has been done to the software but that typically logged me out completely.... so... I mean how wrong can you do "switch to admin" LOL! Sorry...

You're the only member to report this particular anomaly thus far, so that's what we're trying to figure out.

Oh ok, I see.  Well maybe nobody else is anal enough to report it.

Okay, so just to show that I am doing it right {I am, I hope lol} I have logged out completely and this is the screen that I get up for logging back in okay? As you can see, I have typed in my email {all accounts are linked to thi} my password which has to be correct or it won't log me in, which I'm sure you know. And I've ticked the "remember me" I then click "continue" and that's when all my linked accounts come up.

Second screen shot circles my "admin" account which is what I select and then get directed to my site. So as far as I'm aware that's all correct, yes?  So if I come on to a different account tomorrow, you will be able to see that I'm doing nothing wrong. 

Third image shows you that I'm on my admin account - the character Dominic Salvatore uses "admin". If I want to write for say Damon I will go the switch account and click on Damon - write up his post.  If I'm done for the night, switch to Dominic {admin} again and shut everything down. So can't see I'm doing anything wrong. But let's see what happens when I come back on again tomorrow night. If it's Dominic - well good and I won't post here again until I find I'm coming on to another account. LOL

Just to say Brian I was logged in as the right account tonight. But I didn't switch to any of my other accounts last night as I didn't get to wright for any of my characters. A bad night. So I'll see what it does tomorrow when I get on, as I will be or should be switching accounts tonight to wright for some of my characters. Just basically wanted to update you. 

Edit: I am not stupid but for some reason it isn't spelling write as in written the correct way I have tried to amend it several times and it keeps putting it as wright. Grr. Lol

Just wanted to let you know that since reporting this, it hasn't happened again. I can only assume that's it's done it off the back of me creating a new account one night and not logging back out and back in again under my "admin" account and that's why it kept coming up as random accounts. So since it's not done it since logging out completely and back in again, I will have to remember that the next time I create a new character account. If it wasn't that, I don't know what, but something was obviously causing it. LOL

Will do, but definitley going to remember that when I create a new account, not to switch from it.  I will log out completely and then back in under my "admin" and hopefully that stops it from happening again. It's about the only thing that I did before it started having random characters logged in... so fingers crossed.

It did it to me again today Brian LOL! Just totally out of the blue. I did create a new account a couple of nights ago but this time I definitely logged out and logged back in to my "admin" account - I didn't switch this time. Since completely logging out and logging back in seemed to do the trick last time, I will do that again, but just wanted to bring it to your attention.
