Yeah, it didn't work. Also, there are lots of plugins and all this stuff, but what's the point of upgrading Proboards to v5 and going crazy about Plugins, if you can only get 5 or else you need to pay for more? And like 80% of the V4 Headers and Footers codes won't work? So... we don't have a choice BUT to pay for more Plugin space, which I can't and won't do.


* sigh * I should've just used the Demo V5 instead of actually upgrading to it.

Nope, I just want the image as my Header, Nori. But the logo that Proboards "made" with my Forum name is popping up in front of my Header image, which I already added a title to with a Photo Editor.

There is a lot of free space alloted for the plug-ins, SuperNita. I think it would take quite a lot to reach the point of paying for them.

Sadly, yes, a lot of v4 hacker codes won't work. I lost quite a few of them in v4. They stopped working.

Where exactly did you put the logo you wish to put in as the banner image.

Did you put it in the Themes> Advanced Styles & CSS > Visual Header in the Header Top Area ~

If none of these settings are working correctly, especially if you've been following any of the suggestions, I'd recommend posting in the support board. Have you tried making your forum name nothing? Or a single space? Making the text transparent? Using the screen shot Luv has provided you can see the 'Banner Text' option in the Advanced Theme Manager. If you go in there and set it to transparent and then center align the text it should have the equivalent effect as the Easy Theme settings I gave you so long as you have uploaded your banner image. When I looked at your site all I saw was a giant blue space with words in it.

You see the white text on my Header that says "Wolf-Affliction"? That's the text I want to remove, and that's the text that came up when I applied that Header to my Forum. The slightly transparent text BEHIND that text is the text I applied to the header in a Photo Editor. Just letting you guys know that just in case you thought I was trying to delete THAT text. But even if I click the TRANSPARENT check box to delete the white text, you can STILL see it, although it's SLIGHTLY transparent, not 100% transparent.

If you want to remove the white text, visit your admin panel and then navigate to Themes > Theme Manager. On the next page, click directly on the name of your theme in the theme manager. You'll be taken to the theme settings where you will find the option for "Forum Title:" -- set this to "Do not display a title" (or "Display Logo", if you just want the banner image you uploaded for the skin to display). The changes will be saved automatically and you'll see the text removed

To get rid of the text, you do exactly what you did originally. The fuzzy grey you get is the text shadow. If you set that to centre-centre, you'll get rid of it.

I think there's something wrong with Proboards V5. Because I did what Ricky and Luv said to do and on the "Preview" part, the Logo was finally gone. But in order for me to remove the logo, I had to reset the Image, remove the URL, put the URL back in, but now there's just a blue header and now my header wont pop up!

It looks like the banner is missing due to the URL that you're using for the banner image. To correct this, visit your admin panel and then navigate to Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS. On the next page using the visual editor, navigate to Header (Top) > Forum Banner > Banner Image. Once there, you'll see that the URL you currently have set for the banner image to: 1.1.1.5/bmi/www4.picturepush.com/photo/a/12518182/1024/Anonymous/wolf-02-stock-by-lokinststock-d3eu37q777.jpg

Change this to the following instead: www.picturepush.com/photo/a/12518182/1024/Anonymous/wolf-02-stock-by-lokinststock-d3eu37q777.jpg

Once that's in place, the banner image should load fine again

Oh, wait! Is the Shout Box the "Chat Box" basically? And can I make it into a "Side Table" or place it below my Header but above my Forum, in the location the "Dynamically Tabbed Table" is supposed to be. In that location?
