One of my members when ever he creates a new posts it sometimes will double the post and if using the forum smilies he can not put it where he wants to as it always ends up being at the front of his post. Another issue he has had he cannot go back and delete the double posts and he is a mod even. I believe he is using IE for his browser. No one else seems to have the issue. shoutout.freeforums.net/

Hi, thcri. We're aware of the smiley issue. Which member is being affected by this? And what steps are they taking when posting?

Cowboy is the member.
As for what steps I am sure the same as always. I can ask him more detail. The problem started a couple of days ago.

Let me know what you find out. A long, long time ago there was a bug that made you post twice when you double clicked the reply button, but that has since been fixed, so I'm curious what actions he's taking when replying that would lead to that. Can you also ask him what version of IE he's using?

The duplicate posting seems to have resolved itself now, but I still have issues with the stock smilies, quote tags, ECT posting in front of my text when I make a post. I am useing IE8 as a browser and have only had these issues in the last week or so. thcri mentioned for me to try a different browser so I tryed the same thing using google chrome. That works fine just like it allways has so it has to be an issue between our forum and my IE8 browser. My only question to you now, is that something that is being looked at, or will I be stuck with using google chrome (which I do not like) to post on our forum. Thankyou in advance.

Our focus is to make the software compatible with all of our supported browsers, which includes IE7 and every version following it. So it should be fixed in the next code push. This issue has been reported multiple times as of late and is being fixed while we add other optimizations to the Visual and BBCode editors as well from a different task.
