I uploaded gif avatar earlier in my profile though upload is successful but there isn't any images in my profile.
So I changed that into JPEG. Is GIF's avatars are accepted as avatar profile?

GIF is accepted, I do believe. However, there is a file size limit, of about 1mb, I think. Not sure without checking. Is it bigger or smaller than 1mb? |

Just confirming that gif images are indeed supported for avatars (see here). But if you can provide more info about the image you're trying to add, we can see what's causing the trouble for you  |
