Most of the recent thread discussion has been on the visibility and accessibility of member email addresses to other members and staff. I am new to PB so I don't know what the capabilities of V4 were. Is part of what will be added back is the ability of members to email each other as they can similarly do with PMs?

Members haven't really had the ability to email each other unless they exchanged addresses via PM. I think in the instances that they could, it may have been because an individual user chose not to hide their address. I'm not positive on that, however.

Thanks for responding.
Would it be possible for me to edit the member profile template to include "email member" near the "send message" button. This seems like it shouldn't be difficult, but being new here and with PB I'm not sure what is possible and impossible yet.

I'm not asking for the code, just if it can be done or not.  My forum members check their email more often than the forum.  I'm going into the template and play with it for a bit.
