Members of my Board????

Most of the members on our board are older people that don't have many PC skills and I'm not much better , and this change will cause us to lose some members if they have to create a new password or what ever . Do members have to go through any changes or can they just login without any problem? This is our site stelcofishingclub.proboards.com 
I have worked for years creating what we have now and I hope I don't lose what I have done. Not many people post on our site, it's mostly an information site for our clubs news and events. I'm going to opt out for now till year end. Thanks Pro Boards, you have been a great help to our club members. I will continue after the change, but I'm a little worried that we might have a problem teaching the old dogs new tricks and maybe this old dog .

The first time they log in after the upgrade, they will need to take an extra step or two, but it isn't hard. There are instructions here:

I would recommend that you don't hold of converting, as this gives you more room for error. Everything you have on your forum should transfer ok, though the skin may need a few quick touch-ups. You have one or two codes in your headers and footers but these can be replace by plugins in V5, which are far easier to use.

Also note that you can create a betazone copy of your forum to practice the conversion before your convert for real. This option is listed in your admin panel beside the conversion option.

It's actually a very simple process. They will login like normal and be guided right back to the forum. They don't need to setup a new password
