Linked Marquee Image in same session different tab?

I All,

Ok, I have a marquee on my forum with horizontally scrolling banner adds from sponsors - www.southernwaoutdoors.com.au - in the Main Header I have the code specified to display the marquee with the sponsor images repeated several times. 

But currently, with the code below, if someone clicks on it, they are taken out of the forum on the same browser session tab - I want the sponsors website to open within the same browser session, but in a second tab - easy with html, but java script?
