Any news? I have two people now on the accounts pending page and I have no idea who they are Why on earth did ProBoards try to improve a very good system? If it's not broke don't try to fix it. I also now have people having issues with missing "smileys" and missing "options cogs" and a few other bits and pieces... And this is going live on the 29th, good luck!! Mac The missing cogs are being worked on. May I also mention, this is still in beta.. There will be bugs.

Sorry for the delay lomac - I was able to confirm that adding email addresses to the pending registration page is indeed on our to-do list. I'll keep an eye on that one and be sure to update you when I see our developers are able to get around to it. Until that time, a solution to your problem could be to approve the account from the registration page and then immediately navigate to the user's profile and disable their account (for some random long amount of time) from the little gear on the top right next to the "Send Message" button. This way, they won't be able to log in until the disable expiry date or until you re-enable it. You'll have their email address as it's displayed in their profile and can send them an email through the Email Members section of your admin panel, giving them some message along the lines of "Your registration on (your forum url) has been approved but temporarily disabled until you verify your club membership by etc etc etc..."

Thanks David for the update, and thank you for the tip on how to email the possible new members I will try that in a minute. And Brian I don't know what browser they are using, but I will ask, the only problem is a lot of people on the forum don't know much about computers or the software on them so it is sometimes hard to get information from them... but I will ask. Cheers Mac Edit - OK just did what you said David and it worked a treat.. easy when you know how thank you.
