Labels

Hi guys, 

I'm trying to assign a label to a specific thread but can't figure out where to go to create labels in the first place. Help?

You can't assign them to a specific thread, but to assign to a board, go to Admin > Structure > Categories & Boards.
On the right side, click the "gear" icon/image, to show you the settings for that board.
Under the "about" tab, scroll down slightly and you'll see it say "Labels". There you input the label, and its colour. Also, clicking "permissions", allows you to edit who can see, and who can apply labels to threads in that board.

Thanks Stinky! Does that mean that all the threads in that category/board will have a label next to them?
The thing is, I'm going to have a few "book club" threads in the main category/board that I'd like to label "book club". Is that going to be possible?

Go and set up the labels as described above, make labels for what you are likely to need in that board.
Once set up, you apply the labels to each individual thread, a thread can have more than one label. you will find 'apply label' in the 'actions' dropdown

And just to note, if you want to add to multiple threads at once, do it from the thread list. Select all or multiple > actions > labels
