Create Link Text Box

Is there a way to default to a larger size text in our Create Link Text Box?  Even though it is a black versus the blue in the post it is hard for some of our members.  


   this box in red so it shows up larger or even a better color

Hi, thcri.

These will use whatever font size you specify in Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS when you change the font size field in Forms > Text Fields > Text.

Well I probably lead you down the wrong path.   In the Create Link Text box I am fine with it.   I want it larger in the actual post.  In the attached it is the same size font as the rest of the post and does not stand out like I would like it.   Again I apologize for sending you down the wrong path.

Why not just use the font size function available in the editor when creating the post?

We can.   I was just looking for a way for it to be automatic if we could.    Thanx much

It's possible to do that, but it would happen for every link ever in a post. So you may end up having a sentence at normal size, then suddenly have huge text in the middle of that sentence.

If it was just a tad bit bigger or stood out better with a bold or something would be all I am looking for and yes if every link was that way it is what we want.   Most place the link in a separate line anyway.

Bold might be a good alternative.

Try adding this to the bottom of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet.

.message a { font-weight: bold; }
