Moon Phases problem

Hey so I'm not sure how many people use the Moon Phases coding on their site (it's generally exclusive to those dealing with werewolves or something like that). My question is when I put the coding onto my V5 test site, it doesn't want to show up. Is this just one of the codes that's not going to work on V5 or is there some way I can make it work?  If you look here, you'll see how it shows up versus here.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Codes from V4 won't work in V5. You can check the Plugin Database, or if you can't find anything there, you can request a plugin.

it's a code that shows the current moon phase, not something I'm sure a plugin would do. It comes from a site that has provided the moon phase for many types of sites, not just proboards.

If it could be done with a code in V4, it can be done with a plugin now.

Okay so can I get a plugin that can go in the side bar I have set in my site? I'm not 100% familiar with them.

More specifically, in V5, your sidebar can be done as a plugin, and the code for the phases can be put inside of that. Now knowing you want it in the sidebar, and taking a look at what you already have on the forum, this code can be reused inside a V5 sidebar plugin.

Can you link to the page where you obtained the code? It should work in your sidebar without issue.

Also, both of the forums you linked are V4 forums. Not sure if you accidentally linked the wrong one.

That is currently a V4 site. Do you have a V5 test site with the sidebar plugin installed?

The wvwtesting one is the v5. I took the code out last night and won't be able to put it back in until this evening when I get to my computer. The side bar plugin is installed on that testing site but the moon phases code is not there yet.

Okay I was able to put the moon phase coding in the side bar plugin.

Did you get the code working or did I misinterpret your post?

I put the code in but no it doesn't work. If you go to the test site link and go to the moon phase part of the side bar you'll see what I mean. It works fine on my v4 site but on v5 the moon and phase data won't show.

Out of curiosity, have you tried this sidebar plugin? There are known issues with the ProBoards Sidebar plugin.
