Several V5 questions asked by our staff

7. You can opt out of conversion until the end of the year. Then any time up until then go ahead and convert your forum when you are ready.

For adding date joined and location to mini-profiles, head to the Mini-Profile Template (Admin Panel -> Themes -> Layout Templates -> Mini-Profile)

Look for the following, and add in the red section.

You can of course move the placement around, but I'm sure you can work that out from what I've given you. =]

There has been alterations to the bbcode system, yes. While the old system will still work, the new style imitates html, giving you more control. Again, I'm sure someone can link you to a better guide if you'd like one. =]

I like this new BBCode system, as now I have more html-like options, so that's nice!

But, this new system has made it so that there is no border on the tables in my old posts (since with the old system, the borders were automatically added to tables & it wasn't actually in the style coding)... is there any way that this can be fixed on ProBoards end, or do I need to go back & edit all old posts & add the border (I really don't want to do that )? Thanks!!

If you truly care that much you will have to add the border but most the time it shouldn't matter in your old posts just keep it in mind during your new ones

Regarding this, I want to make sure what you said is correct. If we opt out until the end of the year, does that mean we can convert any time UNTIL then, or will it automatically happen at the end of the year (without us having the optiont to make it happen on a certain date?)

If you opt out until December, you can at any point click the upgrade button.
When December does come, if you have not upgraded, you will be forced to. Of course, it will be announced before hand, to remind everyone (I guess).
