well the background is white, so putting a white border on there you arent going to see it anyways

you can only add white to white, i tried changing the width of the td, ho can i get a border then

I dont understand what you are trying to do? you are adding that CSS to the span... if you put a white border on the span, and the span in inside a cell that is colored white.. you arent going to see it.

if you want a border on that span you have to use a darker color

its needs to be white because the background is white, the row isnt as long as the rest of the forum. if its a darker color i aint doing anything to help the missing white, which im trying to put over the black that is there

you need to put border-width css on the cell itself. thats the only thing I can come up with

Im not sure. its probably something that was added into the template itself though. maybe save what you have and reset back to default then add back in a section at a time until the culprit is revealed.
