AP >> Themes >> Theme Manager >> In the display part, below the description, hit "Show none" 

It will get rid of that. (Make sure your in the right theme, via Dropdown menu above.)

Admins/mods usually do not close topics, so it can be useful to other members..

Also just a note as a helper, not a proboards member of staff here. But your forum is set to login, which forces guests to register... So I can't view your forum without registering XD
