if i log out of my forum and go to a post i can reply to a thread by putting in any name write rubbish press reply fill in capcha and its on,i have had a few nasty posts on my forum this way,what is the point of having a membership when this back door is open, how do i stop it.

When you create or edit a board or category,  you can set permissions for members only

Is that the who can apply the label section? it does not say who can post

Categories and boards, on the board, click the gear on the right, you should have an 'edit board properties' window, click the permissions tab, then select the options from the dropdowns

All that does is restrict non members from viewing,if i do that how do people veiw before they join? all i want to do is stop guests/non members posting on my forum before they join.
