Saw someone requesting the ability to have multiple avatars.

The avatars can not be set by the member, these are avatars that get assigned via staff.

You can assign avatars to members, or to a group.

Currently, group avatars will only show in the mini profile due to no way to get the group ID on the profile page.

An example:

Maybe you have an RPG forum where you have some members in guilds, factions, houses etc.  Then what you can do, is give them a different avatar depending on which they are in.

There is an option to disable showing it in the mini profile (it's disabled by default).  It will also show on the profile page.

Would it be possible to make a minor edit so you can assign the second avatar to entire groups instead of individual members?

Unfortunately not, as there is no way to see what group a member is in apart from the current member viewing the page.  So for example, this topic you are in, there is no way for you to know what the group ID is for myself.

Actually it is possible, I hadn't noticed that the ID is included in the user link now.  I will look into it.

Edit:

Only possible for mini profiles it seems.  It wouldn't be possible for the profile page.

Were you able to adjust it to be able to assign by groups?

Also is there a way to adjust the size of the second avie or is it stuck at the default (it seems to be doubling my images)

Next time I work on it, I will include avatar sizes and think about adding the group option.

1.1.0 is available.

I rewrote some of the code to allow for group avatars.

Plugin admin pages have been tweaked.

Group avatar will not appear on the profile page at the moment, as there is no way to determine what group the user is in.

Also note, if a member is in multiple groups, it will only show one group in the mini profile, so you will need to add the group in the plugin area for the one showing.

Thanks. Very strange indeed, as I tried your image on my forum and it works fine. I did spot a problem, and this may fix it, so try it and let me know...
