Css edits made to solve the glitching default cbox. Thank you Stinky666 for the following fix.

This is a very simple fix. You have one shoutbox in the Wrapper, and one in the Home.
Depending on where you want the shoutbox to be (on all pages, or just on the home/main page) you need to remove one.

Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper
Line 121 - remove $[shoutbox] and click save.
Doing that will mean you will have the shoutbox on your MAIN PAGE ONLY.

If you wish to have it on ALL PAGES, do not do the above, but instead go to:
Layout Templates > Home
Line 67 - find $[shoutbox] and remove it, then click save.

Voila

Template modifications added are.
Border around the forum.
New/No New post highlight divs in board descriptions.
Remove forum name|topics|post cell.
Remove on/off new topic cell.

Welshling I enjoy this theme I don't use all the recommended plug-in's though. I feel because of this I am suffering from a shoutbox glitch On my forum page I have two. Everywhere else just one. While i download and enable the recommended to check through which features I wish to enable is there a simpler fix? A line of css that I can remove to fix it without the plug-ins?

Yeah this same thing is happening on all the themes that I have submitted into the library.

But since I am no coder, could you please tag a member of staff. Perhaps ?

I cannot tag any member of staff because I keep getting a chrome warning of malicious software when I click on the bbc button.

I should remove any of my themes from the library until I get these glitches fixed, im experiencing a few other issues right now too.

I'm still trying to update the download for this theme, the edits have been made on my end but currently going through some issues regarding the export part of the theme. I will post back when the changes have been made.

I love this theme and the colors are perfect for the forum i'm wanting to use it on. Only thing is the DD Resources bit at the top I was wanting to remove and replace with a logo that i'm going to make.





any help on how i can accomplish this would be greatly appreciated

Hi diviira

I installed this theme on a test forum so that I might help you.

That image you're talking about removing is used as a background image in the Header/banner area. To remove it, navigate from your Admin panel:

Admin Home> Themes> Advanced Styles & CSS>, stay in the Visual Editor tab.
Make sure PurBerry v1 is selected as the Current Theme.

Under the heading Forum click on Header (Top). That section will expand.
Click on Forum Banner. That section will expand.
Click on Banner Image. That section will expand.
To the right of Background Image you'll see a box with some text in it.
Click inside the box with the text and a dropdown will appear.
If you click in the upper left of the dropdown, the text inside the box will change to 'None' and the background image will be removed.

Click Save Changes at the bottom left of the page or Save Theme near the top of the page.

If you would like your Logo to be a clickable link, click the Theme Settings button near the top of the Visual Editor page. Then click the Images tab.

Under the heading Forum Logo there is a single item: Logo. You can click the Upload button to upload an image directly from your computer ... or click Link if your logo image resides on an external image host. It will be auto-saved.
