Installed into our forums and having fun with this. 2 issues though. 1. I am not seeing the drawn images in IE 10 2. I have 0.0.2 version and am not seeing the spray can icon or the star icon for drawing tools. I can see it in Chrome, but have none of the options in #2 To add to the IE 10 issues, the drawing board does pop up, and I can draw, but when I post, the picture drawn does not show up. I updated IE to IE 11 still having the same issue. Thank you Okay, I actually read the thread! Reading is so FUNdamental. I installed .0.0.1 and now I have the spray can and stars (Chrome). IE is still an issue though

0.1.1 is now available to download from first post.
Changes in this version will break previous images as I have added in better cross browser support.
IE also will now be working fine. Should be consistent.

Chrome. I will check firefox now. Edit: Happens in both firefox and chrome. Strange, it's working fine for me. So you are creating a new post and drawing an image. Then you goto edit that post, but the canvas is blank? I take it the image is showing fine in the post?

Should be consistent. I upgraded a few minutes ago (without first deleting the old version) and now have two toolbar icons. The first one is from the old version (doesn't have stars and spray options). If I delete and re-add, will we lose all drawings that we've already done? Peter, Confirmed that the upgrade did not uninstall the 0.0.2 version. I don't know if that is something that your plug-in manages, or if the upgrade utility itself did that. I will delete the old version and brace myself for the reaction of my users when their lovely crafted artwork goes away

It will go away, I upgraded to the cadillac version as well, but the new bling is better.

TinMachine, Thanks. I get how you replicate it now. If you don't open the canvas up, it seems to lose it. I'll fix this sometime this week knowschad, Yeah, unfortunately you will lose the previous images, however I could add in something that looks for the old data and display them. I'll think about adding something in the next release.

Peter, I must say that our members are really enjoying your plug-in even with the quirks of an early beta. I am seeing members requesting things, but most of all, an undo feature. I hope something like that is in the works. An "eyedropper" color picker is another highly requested feature. I have run into a bug that was in the previous and current versions: I am running Firefox 27.0.1 and if I run the mouse outside of the canvas frame while painting, it continues painting even when I take my finger off the mouse. We (other members are reporting this also) also are seeing Base64 div data on the screen (more than just a flash) after hitting the Reply button. One member using a cellphone app (sorry, I don't have an answer yet to which one) says that with this version, that data is staying on her screen, indefinitely, I believe (I have asked her to make her own report here so that I'm not playing the in-between man). It also is a bit awkward that we can't see our drawing after hitting the Save button. It doesn't show up until actually posting the thread. Will you be able to fix that behavior?

I am the cellphone user that knowschad is speaking of. Here is my original post: When the original drawing program was in use, I couldn't see anything when using my cell phone. Now, I assume the new program is in place and I'm seeing tons and tons of code. I mean a lot, so much so that I have to do like 30 swipes just to get through one post. A bit of a hassle, especially if post after post is a drawing.

knowschad, Yeah, there are a few bugs that I need to fix, I know about the mouse up issue. ProBoards doesn't allow images to be posted via using the data URI protocol, they do matching based on a proper URL, so it would get stripped out. The data that you see added to the post is the way it has to be to display on the thread view page. The data is way too large for a key, so I can't use that. I will add more features once it's more stable, right now it's very early in development, if I continue with it, I will add more things. Dulce-JoyYeah, this was an issue I knew would come up. The problem is plugins aren't enabled for mobile uses, otherwise they would get hidden. Originally it wouldn't show you the data, but due to IE being stupid, I had to rework some of the code. I will look at it again and see if I can revert back to the old way of doing it, however I won't get round to it for a few days.

In case you were wondering, I access Proboards, when on a cellphone, by way of a Windowsphone.

Download (0.1.2)
Will reply once the library version is updated. In this version: - Reverted back to the old way of storing the data in the div. Now when images are created, mobile uses won't see it. - Eraser tool. - Colour Dropper tool. - Bug fixes and improvements. - Tool icon (i.e dropper, eraser, brush, star) shows when drawing (not supported in IE, as it requires a .cur file instead, how stupid.). Unfortunately previous images will be broken, but remember, this is an alpha, things like this will happen early on .
