Visitors counter..

How are we all doing guys, just wondered if there was a plugin or script for a counter that shows how many people have visited a site?

Ok that would change the forum statistics.. How would i set that to the date my board opened or even from todays today, onwards if possible? I'd like members to be able to see how many guests in total have viewed the board.

Are you wanting it to show something like

There have been 321 Visitors/Guests  Viewing Our Forum Today
Your Forum Name here Sunday, May 26, 2013.

Yes but not for today, from the day my board opened or from a specific date if thats not possible..

A hit counter if you like...

Ok as long as it keeps counting indefinitely.. Not just over a 24 hour period..

Here you go - Give this a try

Go - admin - Layout Templates - Home

Add the code below  $[news]

You will need to change  ADD FORUM NAME HERE  with your forum name
At the bottom of the code

Reminder you can always click on PREVIEW
To view how it will look before making & saving any changes to your template

You can Change the red  $[total_guests_online_24]    To    $[total_guests_online]  

If you just want the total of Online guests -  that are currently viewing

 So it would be
There Have Been $[total_guests_online]  Visitors/Guests Viewing Our Forum Today

Just add the FORUM NAME  not forum url

it's because it copy's the guest/visitors count from the info centre

Ok, what im getting at is will that keep counting every day or just for a 24 hour period? I want it to keep counting indefinitely!

with each visitor/guest that visits/views your forum the guest count will update
