If its possible with a template - LEGEND - Main page icons To link the NEW POST icon to link to - RECENT THREADS And the NO NEW POST icon - to link to - RECENT POSTS New post Icon - No New Post Icon - That Show on the LEGEND - On The Main PAGE So it would work something like this See image below Ignore the highlighted green colour it's to show the idea on what each button would do when clicked on taking you to recent threads page or recent posts page Steve

I had ago at doing it myself
Tested - In Chrome - Opera - Firefox - Internet Explorer
Go - admin - Layout Templates - Home
And look for this bit of code <div class="content"> <table> <tr> {foreach $[legend]} <td>$[legend.icon]<span>$[legend.name]</span></td> {/foreach} </tr> </table> </div> And Replace it with this - So the new code goes Directly Under
<div class="container legend"> <div class="title-bar"><h2>Legend</h2></div>
Replace It With This
<div><center><br><a href="YOUR FORUM RECENT THREAD LINK HERE"><img src="YOUR FORUM NEW POST IMG LINK HERE" alt="Recent Threads" /></a> <a href="YOUR FORUM RECENT POST LINK HERE"><img src="YOUR FORUM NO NEW POST IMG LINK HERE" alt="Recent Posts" /></a> <br>New Threads Recent Posts</center></div>
YOU WILL NEED TO ADD YOUR FORUMS RECENT THREAD LINK & AND YOUR FORUMS RECENT POST LINK
YOUR FORUMS NEW POST IMG LINK YOUR NO NEW POST IMG LINK
If you don't want the icons aligned center remove the <center> tags
SCREENSHOT HOW IT LOOKS ON MY FORUM Clicking on the New thread icon will take you to the recent thread page And clicking on the Recent post icon will take you to the recent post page I also used the switchit code to rename the text
Reminder you can always click on the PREVIEW button to view how it will look & test Before you click and save any changes to your template
Steve
I had to wrap it in a <div> so it will work in IE I use to love IE lol
