You don't open it. You download it, then go into admin panel , into the plugin section, and import the plugin from where you saved it.

@wormopolis may I ask a question about this plug-in without getting laughed at or not responded to?

1) How do I make this plug-in work on my Forum?

Sub-Thread Topic:
Sub-Topic Post:

I have a Google Docs Spread Sheet which users enter the multiple choice questions I made. And the Response they give is in the Google Docs Spread Sheet. And my "Sub-Topic Post" is based upon those response's.

So what would I have to do to make sure that when they enter the response in the form and it is submitted, that the new entry for that one response goes to the right "Sub-Topic Post."

I have over 70 questions on it and I know I would need to specify which question on which thread and which sub-topic post it should go. And after reading the little bit of instructions on it I am still not sure how I would write it and how I would make it work correctly.

If you could be a little more specific with what I need to write and how I need to write it in the Sub-Topic Post so it will pickup on it and work.

I am not Code inclinded and have already started out being Code Handicapped.

So anything would help me solve this mystery.

This plugin can't do any of that. It simply just displays a google doc in a post. If the URL to your doc is in the format like the first post it should display.

If you want members to answer questions and their response changes where the post goes, that would be a different plugin

Sorry to bring this up but I'm having issues using Gsheet - its giving me this error

"Refused to display 'https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kXin981Pw0T0YLRL0etAKhtjXBIXeRvtBylASASJCZo/pub?output=html&widget=true' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'SAMEORIGIN'."

I'm not sure if Google has changed things or if I'm doing something wrong

Heya Wormopolis , has this plugin been moved or changed, it was working a couple days ago but when i checked today, it wasn't showing the sheet on my forum.


Nevermind, it seems that while it's updating between Google and the plugin that it goes down for a few minutes. All is good.

Wormopolis Is there anyway to show a specific tab on a whole document? (if that tab isn't the first tab)

speedway is this plugin working for you? As far as I can tell, Google is sending a X-FRAME-OPTIONS header of SAMEORIGIN for the url constructed by this plugin if the document is publicly shared and DENY if not shared (and user not logged in). This means your browser would refuse to display it unless it is very very old and does not understand X-FRAME-OPTIONS. If you are always logged into Google services via your browser then you can open an incognito window and view the post so you can see how others who may not have a google account or not logged in sees it.

Right now I can't use the GSHEET plugin because I can't find where to add plugins? Would this be because my admin tools are just the basic level? If so what would I need to upgrade to?

Second question is what is the HTML plugin so I can add that and then just add my google sheets HTML as I believe that would be easiest since it should allow me to edit as long as I can get the HTML plugin into the forum?
