Thank you. I think I have made the change to the template correctly. I will let you know how it goes after I update it.

Hi Wormopolis, I have installed the updated version and with the modification that you gave me for the template, everything appears to be working fine. I can see the button now. Thank you. I am still trying to decide if this will work for our situation, so I do have a few questions; 1) Am I correct in assuming that the critiques are private, in that one would only know the number of the individually listed critiques, but won't know who selected it? 2) Is it possible for me to move the critique button down to the bottom of the post, just to the left of where I have put the reply button? Or is it dependent on where the $[post.select_options] button is? It seems that I have to have the options button at the top so that the links to posts work properly, but these will be long posts, so it makes sense to have the critique available at the bottom, after one has read the whole post. 3) I also noticed that in the companion plugin, you are able to customize the styles as you give the examples on how to do this. Is it also possible for me to style the border style, border color and the background color to the small popup for this plugin? and how would I do that? Thanks

Is there anyway when someone critiques a post it would show at the bottom of their post?

Thanks It does store a small list of who has made critiques, but only by id and not for each individual. there just isnt enough room for that. and unless we get access to microprofiles from user ids, it will never be usable. currently there isnt a way to relocate the critiques button or the drop down field. the pop-up can be hit with CSS using the selector: td.content div.critique_div {CSS} Is there anyway when someone critiques a post it would show at the bottom of their post? Like have it show them they already made a critique?

Like when you are reading a post it will say at the bottom with very small letters...soandso thanked...or soandso agreed so you wouldnt have to go to the profile to see that it was critiqued or not.

yeah again, it only stores by user id. so if it said anything it would say 12,14, and 22 thanked or agreed. It does not store names and it cannot extract names from the id numbers.

Hi
Is there anyway the Critique can be made to permanently display on the post once someone has used it?

It always seems like I ask these questions to be a douche, but I do it to make sure I wouldnt be wasting time going one direction when they meant another...
You are looking for it to NOT have a button to click if they already made a critique?

Thanks, if you are referring to my question then I was hoping that the Critique box would stay open on the users posts once someone or several voters had voted on that post. At the moment if I vote in the box it does not stay open on the screen so a user would have to click the Critique button to see the votes, they probably wont bother.

You are looking for it to NOT have a button to click if they already made a critique? I know the feeling! It's like they know exactly what they are talking about and you are like....they could mean 5 things right now. And Lord knows they want something really specific but never mention it until last minute.

ok so you mean for the AUTHOR's display to automatically be open. not the voter. No. What I mean is that say I do a post then someone comes along, clicks the Critique button and rates it. The bubble that appears showing the Critique in that post is open but it does not stay open so when the next member comes along to read the thread they dont see the open critique bubble / box. Thanks

If I can get the ability to extract a microprofile from a user id, a whole lot of cool things can happen
