I fixed it. but I found another small problem when you have more then 1 critique affecting the same board that I need to fix. so as soon as I knock that one out, I will re-submit.

NOTICE: if you are using this plugin with the option of allowing the OP to approve repliers for voting - IT IS IMPERATIVE that you click the critique button on every first post that is in play. otherwise the first "approve" button the OP hits will OVERWRITE the current totals. in order to facilitate the new data structure, I had to convert old data. however the "approve" buttons dont have access to the data they need to redo the first post key, so they will overwrite what is there. clicking the critique button on the first post, will safely restore the information so the "approve" buttons dont wreck it.

Also, Companion plugin was updated to allow multiple hits off the same post (i.e. you had more then 1 checkbox checked)

Yay! I will check this out later today. Luckily we won't need to worry about the whole "critique OP" thing since I never selected that as an option. Everyone was waiting on the plugin update so they haven't critiqued anything after I reset it last.

and because I dont know if the settings transfer solution that Tim is working on is going to work, I suggest you notepad all your choices so they can be put back exactly after the update. if the choices list changes, then the program will now think its a new list completely and create a new data storage object for it.

Okay so far this is what I encountered:

1. Companion: For the love of aosidadj I cannot get two CSS things to display properly:

table.critiquetracking {width:80%; border-collapse: separate; border: 1px solid #816f49; border-radius:10px; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto}

---- Display the border colour correctly - it defaults at black.

2. Companion: Same as above except for another part:

table#crit_track_table_0 div.crit_track_bar {background-color:#FF0000;}
table#crit_track_table_1 div.crit_track_bar {background-color:#00FF00;}

---- I had them labeled from 0-5 (for all six choices) but the colours defaulted back to bar "0".

The rest works fine. I haven't encountered any problems with the other plugins or the things Wormo mentioned above because I clear the data each time I test it. The members aren't using the critique function till it is all finished so there is no issue with the OP critique causing something to hang. (I don't use that option anyway.)

No, the versions are up to date. Give me a bit. Apparently I cannot code worth a damn with a ripped contact.
---- The code does not break with Pebble's IP code any more. That was my overjoyed mistake of not actually refreshing the tab out of all of the other tabs I was working on. Sorry!

companion had a bug where someone without already having data in the key failed to create a new data key. I just fixed that and am resubmitting it.

Hi, can you please help me. Im kinda new to the whole forum thing, so I will be honest, I have no idea what I am doing. I have surprised myself so far with most of the problems that come up, and usually somehow it gets fixed. However I have been at this now for 2 days with two different plugins. I installed the post critique and the companion on my forum the other day, and it worked amazing! Then I changed the theme and accidentally deleted the companion, I reinstalled it, and for some reason even though my users have critiques, when I go to there profiles to track it it says under all of them "This member has no Critiques". I have deleted and reinstalled both plugins several times, thinking it was somehow something I did, and I can't get it to work. The same thing is happening with the Posting Activity plug in. I had it working, messed something up, now it doesn't work.  It has to be something I did I just have no idea what.

what do you have key settings set to for critique and companion?


as for posting activity, in your new theme did you add the span tag it needs to the mini-profile template?

That is what I was doing since I updated the version when wormo got the new plugin update up. I flashed the old information to reset it, but upon loading the two (updated) plugins the data doesn't want to save.

^Answer to problem.

Just check if the new version up and see if that fixes the problem? The new plugin is not available yet so I will wait till it is before reloading the plugins again.

Okay! So remember how I said somehow everything I do gets fixed mysteriously. Well the Post Activity is working now. Somehow I got it but I'm not sure how I pulled that one off. I still would love help with the Critiques and the Companion though if its not to much of a bother. Sorry about that. Thanks
