Alters [library support]

I think I can make up a extended plugin that simply allows for more alters to be added and uses all the same functions of the main one. I have to figure out how it would work though, since it would require being able to push more data into the functions that are called.

Due to the recurring search server issues, it'd be extremely helpful if a new alter defaulted to admin use. I love this plugin btw. Thanks.

so make it where admin can use any alter to post? are you sure you want that option because then you would run into the admin making posts for characters they dont really "own"?


as far as the search server being down, I dont have any control over that one. I usually just have to wait until martyn or some dev sees threads in the support board about it. I was just in there and didnt see anything new.

what I am currently stuck on, however, is modifying the message areas when an alter is quoted.  I have the UBBC one working, but the live preview version I cant seem to modify correctly.  Im still working on it.

well looking at what you have, it looks as if you maybe have some line feeds after a lot of things. start by removing line feeds

What are line feeds?

This is what I have.

every <center> tag is going to also start a new line. try this, just put ONE start tag at the beginning, and then at the end of the content you want centered.

line feeds are physical returns after each line

so this
would have
a linefeed
after every
couple words

Mn, it still wants to put a space under the avatar square and an extra one under personal text.

Just a quick question:
Is there any way to display a members alters in a location other than the Alters tab? Like, if I want it to just list (by name only) their alters on their main profile page, is there are a variable I could use?

If not, I have another idea I could use, but wanted to check first!
