And I just now realized that the version I have that allows admin edits isnt the one in the library for some reason... so ignore what I said above about it. It will be in the version I push tonight.

Concerning changing the alter on an edit:
I am the admin, and I have the current version, but the only way I have been able to change an alter on an edit is by using the 'temporary fix' you posted here. Even that only grants me the ability to change an alter if no alter has ever been selected for a post.
That said, I was actually just referring to admin, not OP, having the ability to change alters, and mostly for the purpose of assigning posts to an alter that were made long before we had access to this plugin.

Concerning a starting postcount:
I can see how including a starting count could be confusing to some users who are not running Alters Companion. Perhaps it could be a feature that the user could choose with a radio button with the selections being either 'set post count %' or 'set starting count', and explanation that 'set start count' is meant to be used in conjunction with Alters Companion? Otherwise, your suggestion to use the post count % as a starting place would work exceptionally well too (maybe better, given it wouldn't cause confusion).

Also, I've noticed the 'Modify Postcount' link in the profile section, but I can't seem to do anything with it. Clicking on it doesn't do anything for me.

Looks like companion suffers from the chrome sync bug as well, so I have to update that one too.

They don't get approved right away or anything. It's just one or two admins doing it so it sometimes takes a few days.

Wow, you did a lot of work on these, and they're great!

I'm only having one problem. When Alters is used with either version of Alters Companion, the button to 'create post' is missing when making a new post. When I tried reinstalling the older version of Companion, the problem persisted. However, if I disable Companion completely, the button to 'create post' comes back just fine with Alters.

I feel like such a pain in your side. I'm sorry! *hides*

When I try to use the profile area where users can change status, I'm getting this little popup:

JS Error: TypeError: submitbutton is undefined

Aside from that, everything seems to be working like a charm! \o/

figures.. I was trying to keep the webkit fix in function, but I forgot I used the same function for updating status. it should still set the status though.

I will submit a new companion version fixing that.
