Invisible plug in

Pebble, I really like this plug in, but I would like to be able to customize it a bit.  I want the admins and global mod to be able to be invisible but not the mods.  Any chance of being able to customize this?

This should be possible but wouldn't it be easier to tell your staff not to be invisible?  The reason I left it open for staff is that it's assumed they know the rules of the site.

Well, normally that would work BUT, I swap my mods out monthly.  So, it sort of creates a problem.

I had been looking for a plug in like this for weeks.  I have a contentious forum where my members clash and I rotate the mods so that no one becomes a big target, or feels they have too much power to lord it over others.  Their controls are limited to editing, moving, merging and splitting, but its a way to try and make them all feel a part of the site.

Anyway, I really appreciate you customizing that plug in and whenever you can get to it, is fine for me.

I installed it but I don't see any way to test it or customize it. Some plug ins have a customization area. What will the mods see and what will they see when they are no longer mods? Some of the mods are already invisible while others aren't.

If they are mods then they wont have the option to be invisible, but they will have the option to be visible if they are already invisible.....

There's no customisation. It's written specifically for you!


If they are already invisible then they have the choice to change it (maybe with a push from you?)

Here is my concern.  As I said I was looking for a plug in like this for weeks.  This was my concern.  If I remove the capability from those already using invisible they might complain, so I was looking for something like your plug in so that new members would not have the option or know that it ever existed.   So, if someone is invisible then becomes visible, can they go back to invisible again?  I need to understand the nuances here.  I may have to be careful of who I pick for mods for a bit.

If they are visible then they won't have the option to be invisible.
If they are invisible and go visible.... that's it. They won't have the option to go invisible.

You will just have to pick your moderators from those that are visible. Or better still, make it known that those people who are invisible wont be made moderators. They then have the choice.
