Oh, I see what I had done wrong with the former option. The tag is cap-sensitive. ^^; Sorry about that. I'll try the latter as well. Thanks for the help! Also, good luck with your goal. ^^;
Edit: so it worked out amazing (but of course, right)? I decided to use that code in the style sheet section. But now I'm wondering how to get overflow:auto; and max-height:###; to work so one tab isn't longer than the other. I tried both through the style sheet and at the ending tag (even at the same time), but to no avail. Am I doing that wrong? I've never used either before so I'm not sure if I was typing it in correctly or if the table just doesn't want to comply as is? It's no big deal! The table is great as is.

It helps me to see what you are referring to. normally tabs dont have long titles in them in the first place. they should only be one or two words.

Here you are, Wormopolis. I didn't mean title, I meant the content itself. ^^; I should have been more specific, my apologies... If you click on the other two tabs, you can see that the table shrinks to the height I have it set at. However, if I add more text, it'll stretch. I want its height to be fixed with a scrollbar when the list elongates beyond the designated height (since it's being used for items/inventory, it has the potential to be very long). However, I don't know if that's possible. ^^; Also, it's very white/low-contrast at the moment. ._. I apologise for that (hopefully you can see it).

ah ok yeah I thought you were talking about tabs.
if you want the divs to have a height, put styling in their closing tabs. look at the first post to see what I mean. apply the height on overflow to each of the PTabs

Wormopolis I don't know if you saw my post or not but the "border: none" did not work and the border is still there, is there any way to fix this issue? Is something overriding it?

So as Wormo said, you wanna put the coding into the closing tag for the tab, and it'll look something like [/PTab={height: 200px; overflow: auto;}] or whatever height value you personally want it to be.

Not sure if this was asked of you Wormopolis, but any chance this could work with the Presto code down the road? On our forum we have both the Tabbed Table in Posts and Presto plug-ins installed, but we can't use both codes in the same post (together or separate, but still in the same post). A lot of members keep fussing over the fact that they won't work together despite being told that they won't; it would just make things so much wonderfully pleasing, though :]

it depends on the order. because presto is dynamicaly bound, it has to run after tabbed table. I have seen them work together in a post before.. in fact I think there is an example in this thread about it

Yes, it works but so far I only got Presto to work in the first tab of a tabbed table.

So I experimented with this some tonight. and I have some news that will make you all love me again.
I got presto to work in multiple tabs. It will still have to run after tabs because of the way presto boxes are constructed, but I was able to get a presto box in 3 different tabs in IE, FF, and Chrome.
also, I started working on a way to allow tabs on the side of the table instead of the top, but I have to figure out how animation will work since you cant exactly squeeze up and down the same. you will be able to either set all tables to have side tabs, or be able to put into the end tag styles that it is a sidetab type (hopefully).

Wormopolis Could you tell me how I could make the tabs look more like buttons? I'm not very good with css I guess because people don't seem to be recognizing that they are tabs to begin with :S I'd just like to make it more noob friendly I guess lol My Tabs Example
