Post Quarantine [library support]

On the face of it this is an excellent plugin and thanks for your hard work in putting it together Wormopolis.

I've encountered a few issues in setting it up for testing and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if it is working as you intended.....

1) Maximum number of staff, approvers if you will, is limited to 5 per rule? We currently have 13 members of staff that would need to be set up with this facility, so we've got to duplicate each rule 3 times?

2) Maximum number of members on manual quarantine list is 5 - and again we'll need to duplicate the rule 3 times so that all of our forum staff are able to approve?

3) It works fine catching new members under the automatic "posts less than rule", but there is nothing to stop them continuing to post beyond the set number.......and once they do, the button to approve disappears unless I set their post count low enough to bring them back within the rule. Is that right?!!

1. and 2. shouldnt be any maximum to these. but I never really tested beyond 2 because I dont have that many accounts on my test forum. what happens if you set it to 6? does it just not work at all?

3. the fixed post count number is exactly that. it only applies to members with less then that post count. if they happen to exceed it on that post, then the next post is free and clear. if you continue to have problems with a particular member, you can always just make a new rules specifically for that member.

For 1 & 2, as you enter a member you get offered another box......but once you've done the 5th it no longer offers another box.

3 - the main problem is that once they go over the limit, the button to approve their quarantined posts disappears.

ok I wasnt aware there was a max on member searches.. Tim Camara is that true?

as for the #3 thing, that is definitely a bug and I will look into that

Nope, not true. Check your dialog for a scroll bar, colin.

How silly do I feel - there isn't an obvious scroll bar so I assumed that was that, but you are of course spot on; as soon as I scrolled another box appeared....then another.....and another....

I unplugged the quarantine option and the corresponding support plug-in as well; since I was busy trying to get my new community independentnation.proboard.com up and running while dealing with a problem child I wasn't able to drop what I was doing and return to this place and yell for HELP.
But in a nut shell here is what was happening:
1. I don't have new members set up under any quarantine so that's never a problem
2. problem child seemed to be plastering numerous posts and I don't know if that caused an over load or the 'quarantine' was just running slowly and missed several of his posts
3. there would be maybe 5 out of his total 12 posts waiting for my approval
4. his avatar stated his group member of the 'quarantine' and yet there would be duplicate posts waiting to be approved or none at all and he'd have been very busy posting
5. I finally got so frustrated I 'unplugged' both of them and just told the jerk that the next option would be to 'CHOKE' him out of the threads that he was constantly derailing with his off topic diatribes but I didn't want to just leave a plug in that I'd paid for sitting there doing nothing

Has anyone else had any quirky problems with 'quarantine' not being consistent once it's set up?

Wormopolis, is there a class for CSS styling the text that shows up as the "OP message" and "public message"?

its a <div class="quardiv"> so it will let you hit the whole thing. might have to add in more specific selectors to override the default stuff. but the default stuff is

div.quardiv {text-align:center; font-size: 20pt; border-radius:50px 50px 0 0}

you paid for a plugin?

I purchased a 'BUNDLE' plan with 'KEYS' so I'd have plenty of 'control/power' for the problem children --- especially this dude!  So mobile apps will be treated differently when a person is under 'Quarantine' will a mobile post affect any of the other power option...say like the 'CHOKE' one too?  Soooo confused now!

Most plugins do not work on mobile app because javascript doesn't, so Choke doesn't work either. Banning, disabling, deleting, and warning them, all default features of the site, work though.. just saying.
