Hey, apologies if this has been asked already.

I'm not trying to use Post Quarantine as a tool to prevent troublemakers or bad posts, but rather to screen posts on a specific board in order to reduce spam/stay on topic. As such, is there any way that new posts can be hidden while also showing some kind of banner or notification to the author, so that he knows other members can't see his post until it's approved?

that is what the default quarantine banner does. only the author and approvers can see the actual contents of the post. everyone else just sees a banner saying the post is under quarantine.

Ah... my lab-rats friends said that they were able to see the post, and I assumed they could see the contents as well. I'll make sure they can only see the banner.

if they are using the mobile app, they can. because no plugins run on mobile app.

With the recent developer push, approvers should get quarantine notifications, regardless of if they are on the page or not now.

Another basic question. How can I edit the text for the OP/public messages in the banner and the rounding on the banner's edges? I searched the thread and saw the default quardiv values, but I'm not sure how to override them. Tried to do it in my CSS, but no effect.

CSS can be overrided with

div.message div.quardiv { stuff }

the messages are editable under the General Settings tab

I only tested with Firefox, but I can't reproduce. I even quarantined some of the search result posts and still had no issue with pagination.

What browser are you trying with?
