Yeah that was seen before. But in the instance someone actually WANTED to do that I left it in. Removing the completely blank rule will fix it if you don't want it.

At some point I might make it where it requires at least SOMETHING filled in, even if it's an obscene post count

Some people actually quarantine all posts by everyone.

I know. It's only an issue from the perspective of admins not terribly familiar with the interface (see figure).

hi, where can i find the list of the quarantined messages so that i can approve them? thanks

Do you have the companion plugin?

no, i can install it if it is easy.

The companion plugin is the one that will add notifications to all the members that are listed as "accepters" for each rule. It wont go back and catch ALL the current ones though, unless an "accepter" happens to browse that post and not accept it. but future quarantines will send notifications.

when something gets quarantined, you will get a new menu item. clicking it will open a dialog listing all the pending posts and clicking them will take you directly to them to be accepted or deleted or whatever. if you have multiple people being notified about the same posts, and someone else beats you to the post and accepts it, it doesnt always update everyone else's notifications. so just be aware it sometimes happens.

basically i want all new posts to be approved before they can be read by the public? can these plugins accomplish this or not? i have set both go them? where can i review the new quarantined posts?

up in your menu items do you see a new menu called "quarantined"?

I tried to exclude a new member from being quarantined, but the member was not recognised. Is it not possible to exclude new members from being quarantined? Do they have to be registered for a certain time?

Can anyone help me with this question?

I have added another member successfully from being quarantined....so cannot understand why the new member did not 'take'.

So you have added 2 names to the exclude, but only one took? do you have more then 1 rule? does that member perhaps fall under another rule? if you hover the banner, it will tell you why they were quarantined.
