example of the thought process:
when you click on quarantine it automatically hides it well since that is happening could it be tied into the report post/abuse for the Staff to respond to it.

basically it would follow RedBassett plugin thats still on a patch pending spree 

also what kind of key would this take if done like that?
 

Its already been asked. there isnt any event I can latch on to tag on the quarantine funtion. the dialog that opens up doesnt have any information in it either I can extract off.

I submitted a request to have a key event happen on a report_post, but that is still pending

well dont count your chickens yet. 1.1.3 has a small bug BLC just found so I am patching that currently.

I will submit it as soon as I finish the patch, but if you need it immediately I can get you a dropbox link

Well, it didn't work as she posted this morning.
Luckily she has not been rude on the boards, because if she were rude to other members she would be kicked out post haste.

huronna I likely know what the issue is. v1.1.5 was submitted last night so keep an eye on the library for it. apparently I neglectd quotes.

Mkay, so the Companion, love it btw.

However, it does now pop up when there are posts awaiting approval from staff when posted in a board that requires approval. I'm assuming it only shows posts that was manually quarantined by someone?

no it should show any post quarantined, BUT the way keys currently work is you cant read the current value of a key unless someone is on the page already. you CAN however, set a key. but this poses a problem when you write without reading because you overwrite what is already there. the post will stay quarantined, and basically in a pending notification state, until it sees someone in the "approver" list show up on a page so it can update their notifications key. then it changes itself to a "flagged and notified" state and no longer seeks approvers.

The devs are changing the way keys can be accessed so we can push new data without overwriting old data. when that push is active, the notifcation system will strengthen

Well, I just tested the OP feature and the Manual Quarantine and so far so good.  All I can do now is wait and see what happens when those being monitored post, but so far it is working wonderfully and I can't thank you enough for all the hard work.   

This plug in helps make monitoring a website so much easier since you don't have to worry about new members or guests or troublesome posters anymore.

Hi there, ok so when i quarintine a post all members can still see it, is that meant to happen? Also can you send me pics of the setup so staff only can approve and any under 20 posts will be in automatic quarintine.
